CEMLEB produces cement and construction materials: grey cement — Portland limestone PA-L 42.5, Portland P 42.5 RMS BTNa, and blast furnace composite C-S 42.5 ChB, all to Lebanese standard NL 53:1999 — and white Portland cement produced by its subsidiary SLCB.
Where is CEMLEB located?
CEMLEB operates its grey cement plant in Chekka, North Lebanon, with the plant address at Hery, North Lebanon, and its head office in the Mitsulift Building, 2nd Floor, Dbayeh, Lebanon. Its subsidiary, SLCB, is also in Chekka, and BEM is in Kalecik, Northern Cyprus.
Since when has CEMLEB operated in Lebanon?
Since 1929. CEMLEB is the commercial brand of Société des Ciments Libanais S.A.L., one of Lebanon’s longest-standing industrial companies.
What is the difference between grey cement and white cement?
White cement is produced from white clinker made from selected raw materials with very low metal oxide content, particularly iron oxide, giving it a high whiteness index for decorative and architectural work. Grey cement is the standard structural product for concrete, masonry and mortars.
Does CEMLEB offer cement in bags and bulk?
Yes. Portland limestone cement PA-L 42.5 and white Portland cement are available in 50 kg bags and in bulk; Portland P 42.5 RMS BTNa and blast furnace composite C-S 42.5 ChB are supplied in bulk.
